Day #4: Wind in the Window

November 4th, 2009  Posted at   Art Every Month/Artists Way

I was inspired by the earrings in the Fall issue of “Step by Step Wire Jewelry” magazine, but the instructions, as they were, made earrings that were nearly 4 inches long – not my style at all.  In fact, not the style of most people I know.  So, in playing around with my stash of beads I found the glass frame and realized that the wirework kind of looked like the wind.  I attached it to the frame and am letting it set.

This piece isn’t finished yet – I’m thinking of adding some leaf beads that I have and maybe a few seed beads to represent everything the Autumn wind is blowing around.  I’m thinking it will be a great scarf pin – though I need to think about where/how to attach the pin.
