Vitamin D or Organization? You Decide!

I’ve been keeping some of my goal-steps and have added some different ones.  Unfortunately, blogging here got sidelined for a bit.  But, I’m eager to show you what I’ve been learning.

First of all, go to FlyLady.net.  I’m not kidding, go there now.  I’ll wait.

I’ve been following FlyLady’s steps for two weeks now and here is what blessings I have seen:

  • I have a spotless kitchen with very little effort.
  • I’ve decluttered nearly 1/2 of my house
  • I have a happy, romantic husband who doesn’t have to do any housework.
  • I don’t have 6 loads of laundry to do on my weekends, in fact
  • I don’t have ANY house cleaning to do on my weekends.

By applying a schedule I am able to do the FlyLady daily routine, get my inbox to zero, get all of my client work finished and spend an hour decluttering a space and I’m done by 2:00 pm!  Not kidding here, folks!  In all of the extra time I’ve gained I’ve been doing extra decluttering, but just in the 15 minute spurts FlyLady suggests.

I’m also up and dressed with makeup on and ready to take on the world in the morning.

My attitude for the past 2 weeks has been wonderful, stable and I’ve been full of energy.  I’m not entirely sure, but it might be the prescription Vitamin D that my doctor has prescribed.  She sent me for blood tests and found I was extremely deficient in Vitamin D, despite spending an hour a day taking walks in the sun!  My levels were half of the minimum acceptable levels, so she put me on a 50,000 i.u. pill every week.  Now, again, I’m not sure this has had an effect on my moods, but even my husband said last night that I’ve been much different – happy, more fun, laughing, since I’ve been on the supplement.

Whatever the cause – organization, Vitamin D, finding a schedule I can live with, I’m feeling great and actually have the energy, drive and time to pursue my art and poetry!
