My DH took me out to lunch today and it wasn’t fast food. It wasn’t gourmet either, just a chain restaurant, but it was sweet, thoughtful and nice way to spend an hour.

Anyone else freaked that it has been 30 years since Dallas started airing? I used to watch it religiously, but to say it’s been 30 years is a little frightening.
I was also a huge Dynasty fan, but I’m thinking that today I wouldn’t spare the time for these prime time soaps. While occasionally I’ll watch Spanish-language novellas (mostly for the hot guy factor), this kind of cheesiness no longer holds my attention. Now I’m more attracted to crime-scene cheesiness and sci-fi cheesiness.

If you haven’t heard, two men are having a press conference tomorrow to announce that they are in possession of a Bigfoot carcass discovered in Georgia (the state, not the country).
I’m actually pretty interested to see what they’ve found - especially since they claim they will have DNA evidence to present as well. What if they, and many others, are right and North America has a small population of great apes?
